Earlier this week, one small cannabis cultivator began harvesting the first East Coast outdoor, commercial marijuana harvest…
Earlier this week, a small town in Maryland made cannabis history.
Despite the tricky and ill-suited climate, this sleepy mid-Atlantic town is now home to the East Coast’s first outdoor, commercial marijuana harvest.
Better yet, they’ve uncovered a way to do it at a third of the price of their warehouse-focused competitors.
Now, here’s what I love about these guys.
Not only are they the only outdoor grower in the state - meaning they’ve carved out a serious monopoly in the market. But they’ve given themselves the space to perfect their process, and dominate a niche market that has been and will be red hot for years to come.
Ever since President Trump passed the 2018 Farm Bill, the hemp CBD industry has been going gangbusters. In fact, analysts predict that the hemp CBD industry is on track to grow 15 times FASTER than the overall cannabis industry.
But if you could see the real, behind-the-scenes numbers on my screen right now, you’d know we’ve only seen the beginning of this boom.
That’s why, today, I’m going to peel the curtain back…
What Is Hemp CBD?
Before we really dig in, I want to take a minute to explain exactly what hemp CBD is.
Hemp and marijuana come from the same plant family – but are completely different in function, cultivation, and application.
Just as lemons and limes are both citrus, hemp and marijuana are both cannabis, but look different and have different chemical makeup.
Marijuana generally has high levels of THC, which is the compound that gives you the “high” feeling.
Hemp, on the other hand, has high levels of CBD and almost no THC. CBD extracted from agricultural hemp is now federally legal as long as its THC levels are under 0.3%.
Hemp CBD can be used for a wide variety of medical, beauty, and supplemental purposes.
It has been found to alleviate symptoms associated with seizures, PTSD, dementia, chronic pain, and more.
And every day, more and more cannabis cultivators are turning towards hemp cultivation.
CBD on the Rise
If you were to ask me what cannabis sector really has my eye right now, it’s CBD.
Little-known companies are raking in unprecedented profits, and folks like you could stand to make an absolute fortune.
And this space is evolving every. single. day.
In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued a statement recognizing the potential opportunities that cannabis or cannabis-derived compounds may offer.
The FDA is currently working to establish a general guideline for products containing cannabis or cannabis-derived compounds, including CBD.
Once this happens, this industry is going to blow wide open.
In fact, I’ll bet right here, right now, that when (not IF) this passes in 2020, you could see this industry double, virtually overnight.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t big profits to be made in 2019.
Far from it.
In just 34 days, investors saw their holdings soar as much as 1,185.7%.
And CBD company, CV Sciences Inc. (OTC: CVSI) has done even better with a stunning 1,683% windfall for investors.
And that could be just a drop in the bucket…
Because sales in this industry are projected to hit $22 billion by 2022.
And that’s a conservative number when you realize that that jump in revenue is BEFORE the FDA fixes regulatory issues plaguing the industry.
Now, I had my team go pull the numbers on this industry. We laid out everyone who’s anyone working in this space today.
And I’ve got to tell you, we’ve identified two breakout companies in this industry that are too good NOT to share with you.
And you can find all the details about these companies right here.
Executive Director, National Institute for Cannabis Investors
P.S. Before you go, I want to share one quick hint about one of the companies. This small company offers a variety of premium CBD products – and they’re one of the few companies ready to meet the skyrocketing demand for CBD. In fact, if it captures as little as 15% of the surging CBD market, its revenues could surge as much as $3.3 billion just this year. But you’ll want to learn more before this company’s potential becomes common knowledge.
